RESOLUTION NO. 5126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA DENYING AMENDMENT NO. 128 TO
THE ZONING PROVISIONS OF THE WEST COVINA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE MAINTENANCE
AND KEEPING OF HORSES IN THE R=1 AND THE R-A
ZONES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. After notice given in the manner required by
law and public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended to the
City Council that it adopt Amendment No. 128 to the zoning provisions
of the West Covina Municipal Code relating to the maintenance and
keeping of.horses in the R-1 and the R-A Zones. The matter came
regularly before the City Council, after notice given in the manner
required by law and after public hearing, the City Council finds
and determines that Amendment No. 128 should be denied.
SECTION 2. Amendment No. 128 to the zoning provisions of
the West Covina Municipal Code, as recommended by the Planning
Commission in Resolution No. 2607 proposing to modify the require-
ments with reference to the maintenance and keeping of horses in
the R-1 and the R-A Zones, is hereby denied.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
