A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ACCEPTING A GRANT
DEED EXECUTED BY ROWLAND UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR SEWER PURPOSES AND DIRECT-
ING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest conveyed by that certain
instrument executed by Rowland Unified School District under
date of August 20, 1975, granting to the City of West Covina
the property or interest therein particularly described is
hereby accepted. Said property is generally described as:
A portion of Rancho La Puente, in the City of West
Covina, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
designated as "Lot'No.. 1, 1769.46A", on the map showing the
partition of a portion of.s:said Rancho, made by the referees
appointed in Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. 31298,
entitled Exupere Sentous and Vincent Sentous vs. Louis Sentous,
and filed by said.referees with their report., a certified copy
of which map is recorded in Book 1260, Page 163 of Deeds in
the office of the County Recorder of said County, as described
in the Deed to Rowland School District of Los Angeles County
recorded September 18, 1963 as Instrument No. 1846,, in Book
D-2186, Page 284, Official Records, in said recorders office..
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a certificate of acceptance in substanti-
ally the form prescribed by Section 272.81 of the Government
Code and to cause the said instrument and said certificate to
be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
