RESOLUTION NO. 5118
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE CLASS
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CLASS OF TRAFFIC
ENGINEER AND ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGE
THEREFOR.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
Board: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Personnel
1. The class specifications for the class of Traffic
Engineer, as attached hereto marked Exhibit A and by this reference
incorporated herein, are hereby adopted.
2. The salary range applicable to the class of Traffic
Engineer shall be Salary Range DHR-D.
3. The class of Traffic Engineer is hereby placed in
the exempt service. ,
SECTION 2. That portion of Section VII of Resolution
No. 1277 containing the list of authorized positions and salary
ranges is hereby amended by amending the paragraph establishing the
authorized positions in the Engineering Department by:
(a) Eliminating one Assistant City Engineer position, and
(b) Adding one position -of City Traffic Engineer at a
salary range of DHR-D.
• SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
