A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2962,
RELATING TO MEETING PLACES FOR THE HUMAN
RELATIONS COMMISSION.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of Resolution No. 2962 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"5. MEETINGS: The time and place of Commission meetings shall
be as follows:
(a) Regular meetings.of the Commission shall be held
once per month on a fixed day of each month and at a time to
be determined by the Commission at its first meeting which said
first meeting shall be convened by the Mayor.
(b) Special Commission meetings may be called by the
Commission chairman or by not less than three members of the
Commission and any such special meeting shall be held only
upon at least twenty-four hours written notice having been
mailed to all Commission members. Notice may be waived by
any member or members.
(c) Meetings shall be held within the City Hall or in
such other public facility within the City as may be designated
in advance by the Commission. The City Manager shall provide
or arrange for facilities for such meetings."
• SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
