A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1277 TO FIX
THE COMPENSATION PAYABLE TO FIREMEN, ENGINEERS,
AND CAPTAINS WITHIN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, EFFEC-
TIVE AUGUST 1, 1975.
• The City Council. of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section VI of Resolution No. 1277 relating to the
salary schedule applicable to fire employees is amended to read as set
forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated
herein.
SECTION 2. A five percent (5%) salary differential shall be
paid Firemen also serving as Paramedics.
SECTION 3. A five percent (5%) salary differential shall be
paid as acting pay for acting assignment to Engineers, Captains, and
Battalion Chiefs.
SECTION 4. Notwithstanding Section VIII (6) of Resolution
No. 1277; upon promotion, a Fireman, Engineer, or Captain shall be
placed at the step within the new salary range which will result in an
increase in salary.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be effective as of August 1,
1975.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
• this Resolution.
