A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION FOR THE
SERVICES OF EUGENE ARTHUR SUMNICHT AND EXPRESSING
• SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY ON HIS UNTIMELY PASSING.
WHEREAS, EUGENE ARTHUR SUMNICHT was hired by the City of West
Covina in 1968 as a Civil Engineering Assistant in
the Engineering Department and, as such, was a cap-
able and valuable employee; and
WHEREAS, being.an extremely outstanding and diligent worker,
always conscientious with many hours of service over
and above normal requirement, he attained the position
of Senior Civil Engineering Assistant; and
WHEREAS, his knowledge of work was always excellent and his
assignments were performed in the utmost spirit of
self -motivation and enthusiasm; and
WHEREAS, EUGENE ARTHUR SUMNICHT was a cheerful and friendly
person to all who came in contact with him and will
be sadly missed by all of those who fondly treasured
his friendship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City.of West Covina hereby.commends EUGENE ARTHUR
SUMNICHT for the faithful performance of his duties
to.the City of West Covina and expresses sympathy
to his family on his untimely passing.
