A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A
MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST
EASTERLY ANNEXATION NO. 220.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby find and declare that on June 23, 1975 Resolution No.
5076 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings
for the annexation to the City of West Covina of certain uninhabited
territory therein described and fixing the llth day of August, 1975
as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of the said
proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published; that
said hearing was duly held on August 11, 1975; that a majority
protest was not made against said proposed annexation; and that 30
days have not elapsed after the said hearing.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
