A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA COMMENDING DALE HENDERSON FOR HIS
SERVICES TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, DALE HENDERSON was appointed by the City Council to
• the City of West Covina Personnel Board in July 1973;
and
WHEREAS, he served the City for a period of two years until he
ran for and was elected to the Board of the West Covina
Unified School District; and
WHEREAS, during his two years on the Personnel Board he contri-
buted to promoting the City's Affirmative Action program,
made crucial decisions regarding labor relations and
continued to update the personnel rules and regulations;
and
WHEREAS, in June.1975 Mr. Henderson resigned his position on
the Personnel Board in order to devote his full attention
to the school board position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of West Covina hereby commends DALE HENDERSON for his
services as a member of the Personnel Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a cert-
ified copy thereof to DALE HENDERSON.
