RESOLUTION NO. 5067
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA CERTIFYING TO THE ADEQUACY OF,
AND APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT,
FOR THE PROPOSED EQUESTRIAN TRAIL, CITY OF
WEST COVINA.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the environmental impact report for the proposed equestrian
trail commencing on the east side of Citrus Avenue south of Walnut
Creek Channel and extending easterly to the eastern City limits,
prepared by the Planning Department and approved by the Planning
Commission, after notice and public hearing, is adequate, has been
prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
of 1970 and the State Guidelines, and is hereby adopted by the City
Council. The City Council does also find and declare that the
proposed equestrian trail is located in a manner which is consistent
with the General Plan of the City of West Covina and will augment
the existing recreational facilities of the City of West Covina.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
