Resolution - 5051RESOLUTION NO. 5051 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, HONORING DOROTHEA HAWKINS IN RECOGNITION OF "INTERNATIONAL WOMANS YEAR." • WHEREAS, DOROTHEA HAWKINS, who has served the community ing honoreinba myriad of diverse and beneficial Ways, is timist International of Covina -West Covina in recognition of "International Womans Year"; and WHEREAS, DOROTHEA HAWKINS' I past activities s include serving Board nthfor Board of Children s Hospital, ng eles,CountyRetarded Children, Frank G. Bonelli's Woman's Prison Board, United Way Board Chairman.as well as extensive, devoted service as board member and past president of the Young Women's Christian Association of the East San Gabriel Valley; and WHEREAS, DOROTHEA HAWKINS' community services are further enhanced by her active membership in the First Presbyterian Church of Covina, participation in the Parent -Teacher's Association, charter membership of Covina Sister City.
