A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTION VII OF
RESOLUTION NO. 1277, RELATING TO AUTHORIZED
POSITIONS IN THE CITY SERVICE.
• The City Council of the -City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section VII of Resolution No. 1277 is amended
by amending the paragraph entitled "Police" to read:

SECTION 2. The notes applicable to Section VII of
Resolution No. 1277 are hereby amended by amending No. 1 thereof
and adding Note 10 thereto to read, respectively, as follows:
"#1 Clerk Stenographers receive the following shift differentials
for greater variation in shift assignments (rotating on 3
shifts covering 7 days a week - days, swing, morning, relief
duty hours) 2 1/2% day shift/weekend assignment; 5% evening
shift; 7.5% morning shift.
#10 Clerk typists in the Police Department receive a 7-1/2%
differential for shift work and matron duties."
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective on the
lst day of March, 1975.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
