A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA DISAPPROVING PRECISE PLAN OF
DESIGN NO. 665 (H.A. Geib)
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and
determine that there was filed with the Planning Commission the
application of H. A. Geib requesting the approval of a precise plan
of design for the physical development of a 1.08 acre parcel of land
located on the north side of. Vine Avenue between California Avenue
and St. Malo Street in the MF-20 (Medium Density Multiple Family) Zone,
Area District II, all as more particularly described in Precise
Plan of Design No. 665, that hearings thereon were duly conducted
by the Planning Commission and the Planning Commission disapproved
the application, that the matter was appealed to the City Council
and the City Council held a hearing thereon and proper and legal
notice of the hearing was duly given.
SECTION 2. Precise Plan of Design No. 665 is hereby
disapproved pursuant to the provisions of the West Covina Municipal
Code. The City Council finds that the design of the development
as submitted with tenant access directly to the street for all but
three units will tend to contribute to increased traffic congestion
in the vicinity by encouraging on -street parking thereby endangering
the public health,.safety and welfare.
. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

meeting thereof held on the 27th day of January , 1975, by the
