• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE SUPER-
INTENDENT OF STREETS RELATIVE TO THE COST OF WORK
DONE PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 3412, NORTHEAST
CORNER OF SUNSET AND SERVICE AVENUES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina on
the 13th day of June, 1966, adopted Resolution No. 3383 directing
the Street Superintendent to give notice to the property owners
fronting upon the northeast corner of Sunset and Service Avenues
to cause certain work to be done; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, said notice was
,given and a hearing was held by said City Council on the llth day
of July, 1966, to hear and pass upon all objections and protests,
if any, to said proposed work; and
WHEREAS, no protests or objections to the doing of said
work were received by said City Council, and the work was ordered
to be done, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3412 adopted on
the l lth day of July, 1966; and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of West
Covina has submitted a report to the City Council of said City
specifying the work which was done or caused to be done by said
Street Superintendent and the cost of construction and a description
of the real property in front of which the work has been done and
the assessment against each lot or parcel of land proposed to pay
the cost thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE,, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA HEREBY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That at the hour of 8:00 P.M. on the 23rd
day of January, 1967, at the City Hall of said City, the address
of which is 1444 West Garvey Avenue, West Covina, California, is
the time, date, and place when and where the said City Council
will hear and pass upon said report by the Superintendent of
Streets and will hear and pass upon any and all objections or
protests which may be raised by any property owner liable to
be assessed for the cost of such construction and by other
interested persons.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is directed to
give notice of said hearing at the time and in the manner
prescribed in said Sections 5870 et seq. of said Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.

at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina
held on the 27th day of December 1966, by the affirmative vote of
