A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA DENYING A REQUEST FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE.
(Zone Change No. 369-Standard Research Corporation)
0 The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. An application of Standard Research Corporation
for change of zone to C-1 upon property located at the Northeast
corner of Francisquito and Orange Avenues, and more particularly
described in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1923, having been
duly heard by the Planning Commission after proper notice, the Planning
Commission having denied said change of zone, and the same having been
appealed to the City Council, after due notice and public hearing, the
City Council finds that the public welfare does not require the said
change of zone and that said application should be denied.
SECTION 2. The application of Standard Research Corporation
Zone Change No. 369 relating to said property is hereby denied.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to
said applicant.
Adopted and approved this 28th day of November 1966.
