RESOLUTION NO. 3494
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA GRANTING A VARIANCE. (Variance No.
597 - Nelson)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that appli-
cation for a variance to permit an ice vending machine in Zone R-1 upon
the property located on Dalewood Avenue between Puente and Halinor Avenues
and described in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1924, was duly made,
that a hearing thereon was duly held by the Planning Commission after
legal notice thereof, that the Planning Commission granted said variance
by its Resolution No. 1924 subject to certain conditions therein expressed,
that said action was appealed to the City Council and that the City
Council has held a hearing thereon after legal notice thereof.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found by the City Council that
facts exist justifying the granting of said variance subject to the
conditions hereinafter set forth.
SECTION 3. A variance is hereby granted to permit an ice
vending machine conforming to Precise Plan No. 510 on the premises des-
cribed in said Resolution No. 19240 subject to the following conditions,
the violation of which shall be grounds for revocation of this variance
by the Planning Commission or City Council.
1. All the conditions contained in said Planning Commission
Resolution No. 1924 which is hereby incorporated in and made a part of
this resolution.
2. This variance shall terminate five years from the date
of this resolution.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to appli-
cant.
