• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS RELATIVE TO THE
COST OF WORK DONE PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO.
3448, 817 EAST VINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina on
the 8th day of August, 1966, adopted Resolution No. 3441 direct-
ing the Street Superintendent to give notice to the property
owner fronting upon East Vine Avenue to cause certain work to be
done; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, said notice was
given and a hearing was held by said City Council on the 22nd day
of August, 1966, to hear and pass upon all objections and pro-
tests, if any, to said proposed work; and
• WHEREAS, no protests or objections to the doing of
said work were received by said City Council, and the work was
ordered to be done, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3448
adopted on the 22nd day of August, 1966; and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of West
Covina has submitted a report to the City Council of said City
specifying the work which was done or caused to be done by said
Street Superintendent and the cost of construction and a descrip-
tion of the real property in front of which the work has been
done and the assessment against each lot or parcel of land pro-
posed to pay the cost thereof;
NOWT THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
• COVINA HEREBY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That at the hour of 8:00 P. M. on the 12th
day of December, 1966, at the City Hall of said City, the address
of which is 1444 West Garvey Avenue, West Covina, California, is

the time, date, and place when and where the said City Council
will hear and pass upon said report by the Superintendent of
Streets and will hear and pass upon any and all objections or
protests which may be raised by any property owner liable to be
assessed for the cost of such construction and by any other
interested person.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is directed to
give notice of said hearing at the time and in the manner pre-
scribed in said Sections 5870 et seq, of said Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
West Covina held on the 14th day of November, 1966, by the affirma-
tive vote of at least four Councilmen, to wit:
