RESOLUTION NO. 3464
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA DENYING UNCLASSIFIED USE PERMIT
NO. 111. (Mobil Oil Corporation)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and
determine that there was filed with the Planning Commission the
application of Mobil Oil Corporation requesting approval of an
unclassified use permit for a gasoline service station use upon
property located at 222 to 242 North Vincent Avenue, and more
particularly described in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1917;
that a hearing thereon was duly conducted by the Planning Commission
and that the Planning Commission denied said application; that the
matter was appealed to the City Council and that the City Council
has held a hearing thereon, and that proper and legal notice of said
hearings was duly given.
SECTION 2. Said unclassified use permit for a gasoline
service station use upon said property is hereby denied on the
grounds that the proposed use would be a special privilege incompat-
ible with the area and adversely affect the public welfare and that
the property is not zoned for such a use.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to
said applicant.

1966.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 261h day of September ,
1966, by the following vote of the Council:
