A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA ADOPTING BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND
TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the
City of West Covina, hereinafter referred to as the City, and
the State Department of Public Works, Division of Highways,
hereinafter referred to as the Department, on March 24th, 1961,
for expenditure of State -allocated funds; and
WHEREAS, a project statement has been prepared and
was submitted to the Department on May 24, 1966, showing the
estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made
during the 1966-67 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, a budget approved by the Department on July
8th, 1966, has been presented to the City Council in accordance
with the project statement submitted by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered said budget,
as approved by the Department, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of West Covina:
• SECTION 1. That said budget be and is hereby adopted
as the budget of expenditures recommended to be made from such
funds during the 1966-67 fiscal year.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
Approved and adopted this 29th day of August, 1966.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of August, 1966,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen Gillum, Nichols, Mayor Krieger
• NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Gleckman, Snyder
