A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY
• NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 11 1966
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
. SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable .property within the City as a
revenue to carry on the various departments of such City for the
current fiscal year beginning July 1, 1966, and to pay the bonded
or other indebtedness of such City, is hereby fixed as follows:
For the General Fund for the carrying
on of the various departments . . . . . $641 118
For the construction of facilities
for flood control . . . . . . . . . . . 53,693
For the a-c.qui'si'tibnand improvement
of park and recreation facilities 233,433
For Civil Defense and disaster
preparedness . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 16,068

• For the Interest and Sinking Fund for
Improvement Bonds authorized at

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and the same shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon adoption.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at
a regular meeting thereof on the 22nd day of August, 1966, by
the following vote of the Council:
