A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF WEST COVINA.INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS OF SAID CITY TO TAKE CERTAIN ACTION
WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURB AND
GUTTER, AND A DRIVEWAY APPROACH AND STREET IM-
PROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 5870 ET SEQ. OF
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA AT 817 EAST VINE AVENUE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina
hereby finds, determines, and declares as follows:
(a) That on the 8th day of August, 1966, said Council adopted
Resolution No. 3441 directing the Superintendent of Streets to post
notice to cause certain construction to be done at 817 East Vine
Avenue, and
(b) That pursuant to said resolution, a hearing was set
for the 22nd day of August, 1966.
(c) The said hearing was held on said date and no protests
or objections were made.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby orders the work as
• described in said Resolution No. 3441 to be performed in the manner
and at the times specified by said Sections 5870 et seq, of the
Streets and Highways Code.

SECTION 3. All of the affected property owners having so
petitioned pursuant to Section 5878 of the Streets and Highways Code,
the period of 60 days for commencement of construction therein men-
tioned is hereby waived and the Superintendent of Streets is directed
to immediately cause the construction to be done.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina held on
the 22nd day of,August, 1966, by the affirmative vote of at least four
councilmen, to wit:
