Resolution - 3433RESOLUTION NO. 3433 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1072 RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE CITY ATTORNEY. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Sections 2 and 3 of Resolution No. 1072, adopted January 28, 1957, are hereby amended to read, respectively, as follows: "SECTION 2. That said appointee shall receive as compen- sation a salary of $1050.00 per month, effective July 1, 1966; provided, however, that for services rendered by the City Attorney outside of the County of Los Angeles and for services rendered In the preparation of municipal bond issues, and for services rendered in actions in court, appearances and hearings before administrative boards, and in hearings before any of the com- missions of the State of California, or for any proceedings initiated or undertaken under improvement acts, and for any special and extraordinary services, the City Attorney shall be paid, in addition to the foregoing salary, such compensation as shall be commensurate with the services rendered and such services shall be considered rendered on a contract basis and not as salaried services. SECTION 3. That the City Attorney shall be deemed to be on part-time duty, and shall not be deemed to be within the classified service of the City." SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption •of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the City Attorney.
