RESOLUTION NO. 3432
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO.THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA RELATING TO TRUCK ROUTES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that the amendment to the Streets and Highways Element of the "General
Plan of the City of West Covina", hereinafter approved and adopted,
was duly initiated, that public.hearings have been held thereon by
the Planning Commission and City Council as required by law, that
proper notice of said hearings was duly given, and that the public
interest, convenience and necessity require that the said amendment
be adopted, except as hereinafter stated.
SECTION 2. The Streets and Highways Element of the "General
Plan of the City of West Covina" is hereby amended so as to amend
the truck routes shown upon said General Plan to conform to the
truck routes shown on It Route Map, Exhibit A" dated April 6,
1966, attached hereto and made a part hereof, which is hereby adopted
as a part of said General Plan, except for North Garvey Avenue
between Lark Ellen and Vincent Avenue and North and South Garvey
Avenues between Citrus Street and Azusa Avenue.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to certify this approval upon the said amendment.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
