RESOLUTION NO. 3431
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA COMMENDING REVEREND ROBERT T.
BERGMAN FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, Reverend Robert T. Bergman was appointed by
the West Covina City Council in November, 1965, to serve as a
member of the West Covina Human Relations Commission; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Bergman was particularly well suited
for this appointment because-of'his fine character, understanding
of and profound interest in the rights of all individuals; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure in office'he assisted
substantially in defining some of- the existing problems so that
the Commission could continue its progress toward the intelli-
gent solution of situations which are becoming increasingly
evident;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of West Covina hereby commends Reverend Robert T.
Bergman for his fine contribution of time and attention toward
the progress of the Human Relations. Commission and extends to
him their thanks and appreciation for the gratifying results of
his efforts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a
certified copy thereof to Reverend Robert T. Bergman.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at
