A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA COMMENDING HARVEY A.
MACSURAK FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, Harvey A. Macsurak has served the City of
West Covina as a member of the West Covina Human Relations
Commission since his appointment as one of the original members
of the Commission, established in June, 1964; and
WHEREAS, because of the developments taking place in
our city the need for a Commission.of this type had become
increasingly evident; and
WHEREAS, Harvey A. Macsurak was instrumental in
developing and organizing the operational procedure of the
Human Relations Commission so that they could effectively process
the many problems that would be encountered in the future; and
WHEREAS, his contribution to the operation of the
Human Relations Commission led to public support and confidence
in their efforts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of West Covina hereby commends Harvey A. Macsurak
for his fine services to the City of West Covina and expresses
• to him their thanks and appreciation for the gratifying results
of his efforts.
