RESOLUTION NO. 3427
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA COMMENDING CLYDE BUSCHING FOR
HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
WHEREAS, Clyde Busching was appointed to the Recreation
& Parks Commission on July 1, 1957, by the City Council of the
City of West Covina, and served in that capacity until June 30,
1966; and
WHEREAS, during his nine year tenure in office the
city grew tremendously in area and population and it was there-
fore mandatory that the Recreation & Parks Commission provide a
modern annual program to keep pace with the city's rapid growth;
and
WHEREAS, Clyde Busching, through his devotion of time
and talent toward resolving the many problems involved and his
assistance in applying sound planning principles toward the
development of a modern recreation and parks program, substantially
contributed to the cultural development of our city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of West Covina hereby commends Clyde Busching for his
fine contribution toward the development of the recreation and
parks program in the City of West Covina and expresses its thanks
and appreciation to him on behalf of our citizens for'the excellent
results of his efforts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a certified
copy thereof to Clyde Busching.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a
regular meeting thereof. held on the llth day of July, 1966, by
the following vote of the Council:
