A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA GRANTING A VARIANCE. (Variance No.
591—Hanlch)
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that appli-
cation of Mike Hanich for a variance to permit a real estate busi-
ness school and.sign upon the property located at 2222 West Garvey
Avenue was duly made, that a hearing thereon was duly held by the
Planning Commission after legal notice thereof, that'the Planning
Commission denied said variance by its Resolution No. 190;6, that
said action was appealed to the City Council and that the City
Council has held a hearing thereon after legal notice thereof.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found by the City Council that
facts exist justifying the granting of said variance subject to
the conditions hereinafter set forth.
SECTION 3. A variance 1s hereby granted to permit a
real estate business school and the sign applied for on the
premises described in said Resolution No. 1906, subject to the
following conditions, the violation of which shall be grounds for
revocation of this variance by the Planning Commission or City
Council:
1. The real estate business school use shall be
conducted only in Room P of the existing building.
2. The sign for said use and all signs on the premises
for any and all uses conducted thereon shall conform to R-P Zone
requirements and shall be subject to approval of the Planning
Department.
3. No sign on the premises shall be lighted.
` SECTION 4, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to
applicant.
