A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF
SAID CITY TO TAKE CERTAIN ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE
CONSTRUCTION OF CURB, GUTTER,, SIDEWALK, DRAINAGE FACI-
LITIES, AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
5870 ET SEQ. OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA ON SUNSET AND SERVICE AVENUES AT
AND NEAR THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina here-
by finds, determines, and declares as follows:
(a) That on the 13th day of June, 1966, said Council adopted
Resolution No. 3383 directing the Street Superintendent to post
notice and to mail notice to cause certain construction to be done
on Sunset and Service Avenues at and near the northeasterly corner
thereof, and
(b) That pursuant to said resolution, a hearing was set for
the llth day of July, 1966, and
(c) That the Street Superintendent did give the notice and
post the property within the time and in the manner provided by
law, and
• (d) The said hearing was held on said date and all protests
and objections were heard and overruled.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby orders the work as descri-
bed in said Resolution No. 3383 to be performed in the manner and
at the times specified by said Sections 5870 et seq. of the Streets
and Highways Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
