A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER.OF SAID
CITY MADE PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
RESOLUTION NO. 3273 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL.
(WEST COVINA STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT
LAD 66-71)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina,
California, did in Resolution No. 3273, adopted December 13,
1965, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Lighting Act
of 1919" of the State of California (Part 1 of Division 14 of
the Streets and Highways Code of said.State), as amended,
require the City Engineer to make and file with the Clerk of
the City Council a report in writing, presenting certain
• matters relating to a proposed lighting maintenance and service
district in said City, as contemplated under the provisions
of said "Street Lighting Act of 1919", and particularly as
contemplated under the provisions of Chapter 3 of said law
and under the alternative procedure for installment assess-
ments provided for in Chapter 8 of said "Street Lighting Act
of 1919" and
WHEREAS, the said City Engineer, pursuant to the
requirements of said City Council as expressed in Resolution
No. 3273 and of said law, did make and on the 24th day of
June, 1966 file in the office of the City Clerk (who is ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council) of said City, his report
in writing responsive to the requirements of said Resolution
• No. 3273 and of said law relating to the proposed lighting
maintenance and service district in said City referred to in
said Resolution No. 3273 and as contemplated under the provisions
• of said "Street Lighting Act of 1919"; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has presented the said
report to the City Council of said City, and said Council
has proceeded to carefully examine, inspect and consider the
said report and has afforded all persons interested an opportunity
to be heard with reference thereto, and is satisfied with said
report and with each and all of the items therein set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE,.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report of the City Engineer of
0 the City of West Covina, California, bearing date the 24th day
of June, 1966, which said report was prepared and filed pursuant
to the requirements of the provisions of Resolution No. 3273
of the City Council of said City, and in conformity with the
provisions of the "Street Lighting Act of 1919" of the State
of Califorri. (Part 1 of Division 14 of the Streets and Highways
Code of said State), as amended, and particularly as contemplated
under the provisions of Chaper 3 of said law and under the
alternative procedure for installment assessments provided for
in Chapter 8 of said "Street Lighting Act of 1919", and which
said report was filed in the office of the City Clerk .(who is
ex-officio Clerk of the City Council) of the City of West Covina,
California, on the 24th day of June, 1966, be and the same is
hereby approved as so prepared, presented and filed.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution, shall cause the
same to be entered among the original resolutions of the City
Council of said City and shall make a minute record of the passage
and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the
City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
