RESOLUTION NO. 3380
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES OF MARCELLA MORRISON AND
EXPRESSING SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY ON HER
UNTIMELY PASSING
WHEREAS, Marcella Morrison was employed on January 6,
1958, as Account Clerk in the Finance Department of the City of
West Covina and, as such, was a capable and valuable employee;
and
WHEREAS, being a diligent and outstandingly
conscientious worker with many hours of service over and above
the normal requirement, she attained the position of Junior
Accountant; and
WHEREAS,.Marcella Morrison was a cheerful and friendly
person to all who came in contact with her and will be sadly
missed because of her sudden unfortunate illness and death;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that as the memory and
admirable qualities of Marcella Morrison continue to flourish
and be perpetuated in the persons of her beloved son, Bill, and
granddaughter, Robyn, this City Council expresses its sympathy
to the family of Marcella Morrison because of this early
bereavement of a loving Mother and Grandmother, and commends
Marcella Morrison for the faithful performance of her duties
to the City of West Covina.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution.

an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of
