Resolution - 3372r 1 U 0 RESOLUTION NO. 3372 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1271 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA RELATING TO CAUSE FOR DISCIPLINARY ACTION. The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Rule No. 11.1 of those certain personnel rules adopted by Resolution No. 1271 of the City Council of the City of West Covina, hereby is amended to read as follows: 1111.1 Cause and Extent Disciplinary measures may be taken for any good and sufficient cause. The extent of the disciplinary action taken shall be commensurate with the offense, provided that the prior employment history of the employee may also be considered pertinent. Cause may include violation of the Personnel Ordinance or of these Rules or any rules and/or regulations for the regulations of the Fire or Police Departments or the personnel thereof, or any act of insubordination or act detrimental to the public service, or any failure, refusal or inability to comply with the duties of the positions occupied by the employee, or any other type of misfeasance, malfeasance or non- feasance relating to his duties, office or position." SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
