A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1919, AND
ALLOWING THE PAYMENT OF CERTAIN EXPENSES OF THE
MAYOR.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
• follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that the Mayor
necessarily incurs certain expenses in performing his duties as Mayor,
that said expenses amount to an average of more than Twenty-five Dollars
($25.00) per month, but that said expenses are difficult, and in some
instances, impossible to itemize.
.SECTION 2. That the Mayor shall be reimbursed for all such
usual and routine expenses but that such reimbursement shall be limited
to and shall not exceed the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) per
month, payable to the Mayor monthly upon his presentation to the Finance
Officer of the City of an affidavit to the effect that his total of such
expenses has equaled or exceeded said amount during the month for which
said reimbursement is sought.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective and operative
as of April 19, 1966, and Resolution No. 1919, as amended, is hereby
repealed as of said date.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
