A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA APPROVING CITY-STATE PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
NO. 1941 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, City -State Participation Agreement No. 1941 is an
agreement for the construction of street improvements, roadway signing,
and modification of traffic signals at and near the intersection of
Barranca Street and Garvey Avenue (South Frontage Road), in the City
of West Covina; and
WHEREAS, the agreement specifies the proportionate share
of the costs that are to be borne by the City and the State and to
arrange for maintenance;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby resolve:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of West Covina
hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the
said Agreement No. 1941.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
