A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
APPROVING CITY-STATE SUPPLEMENTAL PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
NO. 1791-S 1 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAME
• WHEREAS, City and State entered into Agreement No. 1791-�'
executed by City on April 14, 1965 and by State on July 2, 1965 providing
for the distribution of costs for the modification of traffic control
signal systems and highway lighting at the intersections of Workman Avenue,
Rowland Avenue and Puente Avenue with State Highway Route 07-LA-39 11.0/
11.4 (Azusa Avenue), all within the City of West Covina; and
WHEREAS, in Agreement No. 1791-the City's share is estimated
to be $18, 150.00; and,
WHEREAS, the current estimated City's share is $21,890.00;
and
WHEREAS, State and City desire to enter into a supplemental
agreement modifying Section II (a), paragraph two, of the original
agreement to read as follows:
It is estimated that City's share is $21,890.00. The actual
amount of City's share will be determined after award and completion
of the construction contract.
is NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby resolve:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of West Covina
hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign said
supplemental agreement No. 1791-5 1.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
