A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA HONORING FRANK G. BONELLI FOR
HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOS
ANGELES COUNTY
WHEREAS, Mr. Frank G. Bonelli was appointed to the
City Council of the City of Huntington Park, California, in
June, 1946, was elected for a full four year term in April, 1948,
and re-elected in April of 1952; and
WHEREAS, he served as Mayor of the City of Huntington
Park for the year of 1949 and again for the year of 1953; and
WHEREAS, he served as a member of the California State
Assembly as representative from the 52nd Assembly District in
1953 and was re-elected in 1954 and again in 1956; and
WHEREAS, he is presently a member of the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors, having served since June, 1958,
part of which time he was Chairman; and
WHEREAS, his experience in all phases of City, County
and State government and his efforts to resolve the many problems
encountered fairly and impartially has earned for him the highest
esteem and confidence of all;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of West Covina hereby expresses to Mr. Frank G. Bonelli
their sincere thanks and appreciation for his devotion of time
and talent toward the orderly and progressive development of
the County of Los Angeles, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this Resolution and shall transmit a certified
0 copy thereof to Mr. Frank G. Bonelli.
Adopted and approved this 31st day of January, 1966.
