A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA APPROVING PRECISE PLAN OF DESIGN NO.
461 AND GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 569. (Leslie Sugar)
The City Council of the City of Nest Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that there was filed with the Planning Commission the application of
Leslie Sugar requesting approval of Precise Plan of Design No. 461 upon
property located on the south side of Cameron Avenue between Glendora
and California Avenues and described in Planning Commission Resolutions
Nos. 1830 and 1831 on the first page thereof, and a petition for a
variance upon the same property for the construction and operation of
a rest home, reduction of distance between buildings, front yard set
back and ground coverage; that a hearing thereon was duly conducted by
the Planning Commission and that the Planning Commission granted said
application in part and subject to certain conditions; that the matter
was appealed to the City Council and that the City Council has held a
hearing thereon, and that proper and legal notice of said hearings was
duly given.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined by the City
Council that said precise plan is acceptable and should be approved
and that facts exist justifying the granting of said variance under the
Vest Covina Municipal Code, subject to the conditions hereinafter
mentioned.
SECTION 3. Said proposed Precise Plan of Design No. 461
as submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved and adopted subject to
the conditions hereinafter mentioned and a variance is hereby granted
• as requested subject to the conditions set forth in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 1831 adopted September 15, 1965, except Condition No. 1,
and the violation of or failure to comply with any of said conditions
except Condition No. 1 shall be grounds for the revocation of this
approval and this variance.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to appli-
cant.
