A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA COMMENDING WILLIAM A. RADIG FOR HIS
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
WHEREAS, William A. Radig has served the City of West
Covina as a member of the Planning Department'staff since his
appointment on October 17, 1958; and
WHEREAS, he was promoted to,the position of Planning
Assistant on January 1, 1961; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure in office he has greatly assis-
ted in developing modern planning procedures which have improved
the manner of processing the many and various zoning applications
with understanding and effectiveness;, and
WHEREAS, his devotion of time and abillity'and his appli-
cation of sound planning principles to the problems of zoning has
resulted in an orderly development of the'City of West Covina; and
WHEREAS, his contribution to the modern operation of the
Planning Department has led to public support and confidence in
the decisions of the Planning..Commission;. and
WHEREAS, he has served -the City of West Covina well and
faithfully and now wishes to be relieved of his responsibilities
so that he may return to college in order to!prepare for.his
Master's Degree in Planning, and therefore has tendered his resig-
nation; '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of West Covina hereby commends William A. Radig for his
fine services to the City of West Covina and expresses to him
their thanks and appreciation on behalf of the citizens of this
City for the gratifying results of his efforts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
