A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY AND THE EXECUTION.OF•A GRANT DEED
The City Council of the City of Westj'Codina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does.hereby find and4deter
mine that the following described property -is no longer needed.
for the public purpose for which 'it was acquired or for any.other
public purpose; and that the same should be sold for the sum of
Forty Six Thousand Six Hundred Forty Dollarsi`($46,640.00), which
is the best price obtainable therefor.
SECTION 2, In consideration.of the sum of Forty Six
Thousand Six Hundred Forty Dollars.($46,640,60), payable to the
City of West Covina, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author='.
ized and instructed to execute in.the name of the City of West
Covina a deed conveying to Frank Bowker that!,certain property
described as follows:
That portion of Lot 168 of"E. J..Baldwin's Fourth
Subdivision in,the City of West Covina, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as,per map
recorded in Book 8, page 186 of .Maps',-. in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Commencing at'the most southerly corner of said Lot
168; thence along the southwesterly ,line of said
Lot'North 4804712511 West 20.00 feet;;'to the true
point of beginning; thence North 42°01105"•East
parallel with the southeasterly line of said Lot a
distance of 125.00 feet to the southwesterly line of
the land described as Parcel 550 inp,the final order
of condemnation entered in SuperioryCourt, Los
Angeles County, Case No. 765335, a certified copy of
which was recorded in Book D-1577, Page 37 of Offi-

West along said last mentioned southwesterly line
