A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINa AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE
LARKWOOD, THACKERY, AND OTHER STREETS AND RIGHTS OF WAY
IN THE CITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 2707 A'11-52-2)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina in
open session on September 10 , 1963, publicly .examined and declared
all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in
its Resolution of Intention No. 2707 , declaring its intention to
improve the streets named in said resolution, all in accordance with
said resolution, and reference hereby is made to the Resolution of In-
tention for the description of the work and assessment district and
all further particulars;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the contract
to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
ARISTO CONSTRUCTION CO
pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said
Resolution of Intention, which bid is on file in the office of the
City Clerk This award is made at the price named in the
bid, and the City Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids
for the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby is directed to
publish notice of this award twice in the "West Covina Tribune"
a newspaper published and circulated in the City of West
Covina and the City Clerk shall cause a copy of the Notice of Award
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same
• shall be in full force and effect.

held on the day of 1g53, by the affirmative vote of
at least four councilmen, to wit:
