A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY .CLERK
TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED.
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the deed conveyed to the City of
West Covina by Fred Stein and Miriam Stein on'January 20, 1963,
recorded as Instrument 3763, in Book D1940, Page 576 in the
Official Records of Los Angeles County is uncertain and ambiguous
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the City of West Covina has received
a new deed which correctly describes the.parcel previously
intended to be conveyed to the City of West Covina, and has
accepted same;
SECTION 3. NOW, for the purpose of clarifying the title
to said parcel, the City of West Covina proposes to Quit Claim
the above described uncertain and ambiguous deed;
SECTION 4. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of West Covina to execute said quit claim deed.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
