RESOLUTION 2730
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REQUESTING THE REGIONAL PLANNING COM-
MISSION OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO'APPROVE
THE APPLICATION OF FOREST LAWN COMPANY FOR A PER-
MIT TO OPERATE A CEMETERY AS MORE SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED IN CEMETERY CASE NO. 30 NOW PENDING BE-
FORE THE REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION

The City Council of the City of West Co,!vina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION I: Whereas, the City Council of the City of West
Covina feels that the proposed development of a cemetery by Forest
Lawn Company on a portion of the property known as the Covina Ranch
and described in Cemetery Case No._30 now pending before the Re-
gional Planning Commission of the County of Los Angeles would be an
asset to the San Gabriel Valley, including the City of West Covina,
It is therefore respectfully requested {that the Regional
Planning Commission grant the permit applied for."I
SECTION II: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall transmit certified copies thereof to
the Regional Planning Commission of the County of; Los Angeles and
to each of the members thereof.
Adopted and approved this 26th day of August, 1963.
