A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY
PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY
ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO, 181.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does
hereby find and declare that on June 24, 1963s Resolution No. 2668 was
duly adopted by the City Council giving notice of proceedings for the
annexation to the City of West Covina of certain uninhabited territory
therein described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 181
and fixing the 12th day of August, 1963, as the date for the hearing
thereon; that proper notice of the said proceedings and said hearing was
duly given and published; that said hearing was duly held on August 12, 1963;
that a majority protest was not made against said proposed annexation; and
that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
