A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DEDICATING CERTAIN
CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND ACCEPTING
SAME AS A PUBLIC STREET.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain City owned property hereinafter described
is hereby dedicated to public street purposes as a portion of MERCED01to wit:
That portion of Lot 265 of E. J. Baldwin's fifth subdivision of a
portion of Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina, County
of'Los Angeles; State of California, as per map recorded in book
12, pages 134 and 135 of maps, on file in the office of the county
recorder of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said lot 265, said point'
also being the intersection of the easterly line of Walnut Avenue,
60.00 feet wide, and the northerly line of Mierced Avenue, 60.00
feet wide, as shown by said maps; thence south 890 21' 20" East,
640.00 feet along said northerly line to the southwesterly corner
of tract 20520, in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per maps recorded in Book 548, pages 43 and 48
inclusive, of maps on file in the office of the County Recorder of
said county; thence North 00 39' 40" East 10.00 feet along the
westerly line of said tract, thence north 890 21' 20" West 614.99'
along a line which is parallel to and distant 10.001northerly from
the northerly line of Merced Avenue as shown on 1'. J. Baldwin's fifth
subdivision map; thence along -a tangent curve concave northeasterly
having a radius of 25.00 feet, 39.28 feet and through a central
angle of 900 O1' 00"; thence'alorig a tangent to said aforementioned
curve, south 00 39' 40" east, 35.01 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. Said property so described is hereby accepted for public
street purposes as a part of the city street system.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
