RESOLUTION NO. 2687
A R';SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
-CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA FOP, STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, at the time of approval by the City Council of the final map
of Tract No. 17706, the offer to dedicate to the City the street thereon shown
as "future street" was rejected, but pursuant to the provisions of Section 11616
of the Business and Professions Code, being part of the Subdivision Map Act,
such offer remained open and:
WHEREAS, it is to the public interest and benefit that said offer to
dedicate now be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City of West Covina does hereby
rescind its action in rejecting said offer of dedication and does hereby accept
for street and highway purposes that certain real property shown upon the map
of Tract No. 17706, as recorded in Book 433, Pages 5 and 6 of Maps, on file
in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, and indicated as
"future street" and denominated as part of Lot 29 inclusive thereon, said real
property to become and be a part of the public street system of said City and to
be known and denominated as Padre Drive.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
Adopted and approved this 8th day of July 11963.

meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina held on the 8th day
of July , 1963, by the following vote of the Council:
