RESOLUTION NO_ 2684
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF WEST
COVINA APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE PROPOSED REINFORCED CONCRETE STORM DRAIN AND
APPURTENANT WORK IN ORANGE AVENUE KNOWN AS HOUSING AND
HOME FINANCE AGENCY PROJECT NO,.P-CALIF-3550 AND CITY OF
WEST COVINA PROJECT NO, S.D. 6318.
WHEREAS, City of.West Covina, a municipal corporation, accepted
an offer from the United States Government for an advance for
preparation of planning documents pertaining to a public work
described as installation of reinforced concrete storm drain and
appurtenant work in South Orange Avenue.
WHEREAS, Harold L. Johnson, Reg. C.E. ##7668, was engaged to
prepare the planning documents for the aforesaid public work, and
said engineer has completed documents and submitted them for approval;
and
WHEREAS,'the completed planning documents have been carefully
studied and are considered to comprise adequate planning of the
public work essential to the community and within the financial
ability of the City of West Covina, a municipal corporation, to
construct;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by The City Council of the City
of West Covina, the governing body of said applicant, that the
planning documents submitted by Harold L. Johnson, Reg. C.E. #7668
as the basis for construction of the Orange Avenue Storm Drain
dated July 1, 1963, and the statements in Form CFA-430, Request for
Review and Approval of Planning Documents, in connection with Housing
and Home Finance Agency Project No. P-Calif-3550 be and the same are
hereby approved; and that certified copies of this resolution be
filed with the Housing and Home Finance Agency.

The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
Adopted and approved this 8th day of July 19 63.

adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 8th day of July 1963,

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting City Clerk
of the City of West Covina, a Municipal Corporation, (herein called
the "applicant") and the keeper of the records of the applicant,
including the Journal of Proceedings of the City Council of the City
of West Covina (herein called the "governing body"), do hereby
certify:
1. That the attached resolution is a true and correct copy
• of the resolution as finally adopted at a meeting of the governing
• body on the 8th day of July, 1963, and duly recorded in my office;,
2. That said meeting was duly convened and held in all
respects in accordance with law and to the extent required by law due
and proper notice of such meeting was given; that a legal quorum was
present throughout the meeting, and a legally sufficient number of
members of the governing body voted in the proper manner and for the
adoption of said resolution; that all other requirements and proceedings
under the law incident to the proper adoption or passage of said
resolution, including publication, if required, have been duly ful-
filled, carried out, and otherwise observed; and that I am authorized
to execute this certificate;
