A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINAI
CALIFORNIA I ACCEPTING . FOR STREET AND. HIGHWAY PURPOSES CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY HERETOFORE GRANTED AND CONVEYED TO SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES HEREBY DETERMINE,
ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Sr,CTION 1. WHEREAS, the City of -West Covina has heretofore
accepted Grant -Deeds covering and conveying to said City the
following described real property, to wit:
and
Lot 16 of Tract No.164401 recorded in Map Book 549,
pages 13 and 14 of Maps, records in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
Lot 30 of Tract No.20834, recorded in Map Book 590,
pages 86 and 87 of Maps, records in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby determine, order and resolve that the aforesaid real
property as described therein, be and the same is hereby accepted
for street and highway purposes and to be and become a part of the
street system of said City®
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said Lots No.16 and
No.30 shall be denominated and known as Van Horn Avenue.
• SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 13th day of August, 1956, by the affirmative vote of
