RESOLUTION N0.987
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, ATTENDING RESOLUTION NO.809 OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA,ADOPTED OCTOBER 10,1955, BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF
THE "PAYROLL FUND 11 .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Resolution No.809 of
the City of West Covina, adopted October 10, 1955, be and the
same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. To facilitate these payments
there is hereby established a "Payroll Fund" in
the -sum of $25,000.00, and a warrant ordered
forthwith, which shall be used exclusively for
the payment of City officers and employees and
Federal income withholding taxes, if any. Payment
to officers and employees shall be made by checks
drawn on said fund, prepared by the Finance Officer
and/or City Clerk and signed by the Finance Officer
and City Treasurer."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
• of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 9th day of July, 1956, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:
