A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,,'CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY MADE PURSUANT TO
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE RESOLUTION NO. 926 DATED APRIL 23, 1956.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California,
did in a resolution of said Council adopted April 23, 1956, pursuant to the
provisions of the "Street Lighting Act of 191911 of the State of California
(Part 1 of Division 14 of the Streets and Highways Code of said State) as
• amended, require the City Engineer to make and file with the Clerk of the
City Council a report in writing, presenting certain matters relating to a
proposed lighting maintenance and service district in said City; and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer, pursuant to the requirements of said
City Council as expressed in said resolution, did make and on the 25th day
of June, 1956, file in the office of the City Clerk (who is ex-officio Clerk
of the City Council) of said City, his report in writing responsive to the
requirements of said resolution relating to the proposed lighting maintenance
and service district in said City referred to in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has presented the said report to the City
Council of said City, and said Council has proceeded to carefully examine,
inspect and consider the said report and has afforded all persons interested
an opportunity to be heard with reference thereto, and is satisfied with
• said report and with each and all of the items therein set forth;
NOW, THEREMRE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report of the City Engineer of the City of
West Covina, California, bearing date the 25th. day of June, 1956, which
said report was prepared and filed pursuant to the requirements of the pro-
visions of said resolution of April 23, 1956, of the City Council of said
City and in conformity with the provisions of the "Street Lighting Act of 19191t

of the State of California (Part 1 of Division 14 of the Streets and
Highways Code of said State) as amended, and particularly as contemplated
under the provisions of Section 18041 of said law and under the alternative
procedure for installment assessments provided for in Chapter 8 of said
4tStreet Lighting Act of 1919tt, and which said report was filed in the
office of the City Clerk (who is ex-officio Clerk of the City Council)
of the City of West Covina, California, on the 25th. day of June, 1956,
be and the same is hereby approved as so prepared, presented and filed.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, shall cause the original of the same to be
entered among the original resolutions of the City Council of said City
and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records
of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina, held
on the 25th day of June, 1956, by the affirmative vote of at least three
Councilmen, to wit:
