A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, VACATING CERTAIN EASM, MTS HERETOFORE GRANTED TO
SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES HEREBY MTERMINE,
ORDER .AND RESOLVE, ..AS. FOLLOWS: -
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, certain easements were heretofore
given and granted to the City of West Covina, a municipal corpor-
ation,, for ingress and egress and at the option of the City for
. public highway purposes, over the following described property in
the City of 'West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
to wit:
The northerly 60.0 feet of the southerly
440.33 feet of the 636.6 feet of Lot 7,
Block 8, Phillips Tract; as per map
recorded in Book 9, pages 3 and 4 of Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California;
and
The northerly 245 feet of the Westerly 30.0
feet of the southerly 440.33 feet of Lot 7,
Block 8, Phillips Tract, as per map recorded
in Book 92 pages 3-and 4 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California
'WHEREAS, this Council hereby finds and determines that said
easements have not been used in whole or in part since the date they
• were acquired by the City, and that said easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does hereby determine, order and resolve that the aforesaid easements
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned, upon motion of said
City Council, said easements not having been used at any time in
whole or in part since the date they were acquired and said easements
being unnecessary for present or prospective public use.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby
empowered and authorized to execute on behalf of the City of West
Covina quit -claim deeds covering the above mentioned easements,
and said City Clerk shall cause such executed quit -claim deeds
and a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by him
under seal, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Los
Angeles Councy, being the County within which the land heretofore
described is located.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular.meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 14th day of May, 1956, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:
