A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A NEI'41BER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS N0,15 AND 22 OF LOS'ANGELES COUNTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA :GOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION le WHEREAS, the County Sanitation District Act,
as amended by Statutes 1949, Cha882, contains the following provision:
"That the governing body of a sanitation district
is a board of directors of not less than three
• members. A member of the governing body of each
city, the whole or part of which is included in
the sanitation district, is a member of the board";
and
NHEREAS, County Sanitation Districts Noo15 and Noo22 of Los
Angeles County includes territory in the City of West Covina:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Jay�Brown, a member
of the City Council of the City of West Covina, be and he is hereby
appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of County
Sanitation Districts No,15 and No,22 of Los Angeles County,
SECTION 2, That J,Dale Pittenger, a member of the City
Council of the City of West Covina be, and he is hereby selected
and designated as an alternate member of the Board of :Directors of
• County Sanitation Districts No,15 and No,22 of Los Angeles County,
who shall be a member of said 'District Board to act in place of the
presiding officer of this City Council during his absence, inability
or refusal to act as such member of said District Board,
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall forthwith transmit a copy hereof to

County Sanitation Districts No015 and No,22, Los Angeles,
California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of -West Covina, held on the 7th day of Xay, 19569 by
the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
