A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, EKPRESSING.GRATITUDE TO FLOYD H. GELVIN AND
GEORGE H. COBBE,JR., FOR THEIR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS
OF WEST.COVINA.
WHEREAS, FLOYD H. GELVIN and GEORGE H. COBBE,JR.,
have well and faithfully served the City of West Covina for the
past several years as members of the City Park and Recreation
• Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by that City Council
of the City of West Covina that the City Council on behalf of
the people of West Covina hereby records its sincere gratitude
and appreciation to Floyd H. Gelvin and George H. Cobbe, Jr.,
for their unselfish service to the citizens of the City of
West Covina, and for their contribution to the orderly growth
and development of the City; that a copy of this Resolution be
spread upon the minutes of the City Council and that the
City Clerk be directed to forthwith transmit to Nr. Gelvin and
to PZr.Cobbe a certified copy of this Resolution.
SECTION 1. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of West Covina, held on the 26th day of March, 1956, by
